What started on a family surf trip 16 years ago, using $9.00 Spirit flights, has turned into so much more over the years. God led Shane and Michele Miller into the heart of something beautiful and they want to share.
Shane is a licensed building contractor, boat captain, and loves
surfing and fishing. On a MAPS mission trip ,building a church in
mountains of Guatemala, Shane had a profound encounter and gave his heart to the Lord. He was blessed to continue serving on projects throughout Central America.
Michele has a servant’s heart a true passion for others to experience freedom and know Grace. Michele pursued ministry credientials in 2019, has 30 plus years of Business Operations/Marketing experience and loves the beach,fishing, kayaking and spending time with fam.
The Millers live in Florida, have a home in Nicaragua and own an Outdoor Construction Design/Build company started 22 years ago. Shane and Michele love Jesus and have led and served in various ministries over the years and have many testimonies and experiences they love to share.
The Yemmas
JJ is a Pastor, loves Jesus and loves people. Has a deep passion for the Word of God and always believes for Gods best in people.
Eileen is a Youth Pastor and Worship Leader, has a deep Love for the youth that few can match. Extremely passionate for His Presence. Worship Worship Worship. Most of the youth in The Way Church Popoyo call her Mom.

The Rhodes
The Rhodes’ family’s journey has been filled with epic moments! They have three children and are owners of multiple businesses in the States. They have traveled extensively but fell in love with Nicaragua, the culture, and the people; they have made it their mission to spread God’s word and give back.
JT has been coming to Nicaragua for 10 years to surf and, for the last 4-5 years, he has brought multiple men’s groups to do mission work. Along with Ashley and their children, they have helped with baptisms, clothed, and fed locals, prayed for the sick, helped with construction of the church and youth center, and blessed others. They truly believe that small acts lead to bigger results!
Daniel Lowe
With 30+ years in business, marketing, and financial/tax accounting and bookkeeping, Daniele works behind the scenes assisting and is humbled and blessed to help. In addition, Daniele has served in women’s, youth, and prayer ministries. She has also helped in crisis centers, prayer lines, and radio ministry - interviewing Christian authors.
Daniele has a heart for the underdog, whether adult or child and strives to minister with the love of Christ, reminding and encouraging others in their importance in Christ and in our world. Her life verse is a resounding reminder to remain humble yet strong. “But, we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed but of those who believe and are saved.” – Hebrews 10:39
The Hewetts
Im November 2019 it all started . My close friend Jt asked if I wanted to be apart of a mission trip /surf trip with a few other guys . I quickly said yes , this was one of the places I had always dreamed of surfing, at the time the mission work was not why I joined the trip . That November there was a seed planted , I watched a team from all different walks of life not only enjoy the surf , some got baptized and others gave of there time and efforts to help the less fortunate family’s .
For myself, the seed started to blossom it’s been a slow journey , but rewarding. I’ve since been back twice a year on other trips and God keeps moving radically in my life .
Chelsea and I currently live in Florida with our 2 beautiful daughters . We’ve since purchased property in Nicaragua and one day would like to live there .
I love serving others and have a passion for what JJ and Eileen are doing in there community’s . There dedication to there church , making Disciples and offering jobs to those who are willing.
